Two of Alice's grandsons went hiking during October 2010 in Zion National Park near the Wildcat Trailhead. They hiked down to the site of the sawmill mentioned in Alice's book, where she was born in a little lumber shack. Nothing remains of any buildings except some bits of masonry.
