Here is one of my web log entries, perhaps from my Yakkity Yak page, What's New page, or one of my Astounding Adventures from my Geocaching section: Horsey Does It Again!

Yakkity Yak
Good ol' Horsey did it again, with another excellent topical article. Check it out at:
http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2004-02-15-1.html I have personal knowledge of the fundamental nature of family, traditional family, as the keystone of society, because I grew up in a wonderful family, with parents who loved and still love each other, who loved and still love all of their children and grandchildren, and with brothers and sisters who are friends with each other and fiercly loyal to one another. It's a marvelous blessing. I will strongly encourage and support the society that promotes family values, marriage (not the fake redefinition of marriage that some are attempting, but the real marriage, the lawful union of man and woman as husband and wife), and raising children up in an environment of love and discipline, where right and wrong aren't nebulous undefined gray areas, but clear boundaries illuminated by moral laws. I am daily grateful to my Heavenly Father that I was blessed to be a part of such a family. I delight in seeing my nephews (who have been visiting at my parents' house for several weeks now) grow up loved by their parents, parents who care about each other. And when I talk with my brother raising his family in Georgia, my heart is full, filled with peace and joy that he and his wife are sacrificing their own selfishness to give an abundance of love raising their five kids. Now another sister of mine is pregnant for the first time. We chatted with her on the evening of her birthday. It was delightful to hear her share her experiences with us of feeling the baby stir inside her. Again my heart was full. The greatest joys in life come from family relations. And the greatest stress and disappointment can come from those same relationships. But oh, what marvelous opportunity therein lies! Thank you, Horsey, for an excellent article. | |
