Cache Visited: Beaver Dam Wash Oasis
Monday, 26 April 2002 - Late Afternoon/Early Evening Okay, I'm not sure that the date on this one is correct. I forgot to log this cache find, and so I am relying on AlAndaluz's log entry for the date. We had a blast in his truck, cruising the dirt roads, then exploring, taking the long way home up around Mineral Mountain, pausing to explore a few mine shafts entrances encountered along the way. AlAndaluz had his digital camera with him, a new Canon PowerShot A40, a sweet 4-megapixel camera. As we descended into the Beaver Dam Wash area, we tried to catch some shots of the large birds soaring in the updrafts. Like AlAndaluz, I was amazed at patches of greenery nestled into the folds of the barren desert. This cache was a fun find! Thanks, M38A1 for the fun cache find!
