Here is one of my web log entries, perhaps from my Yakkity Yak page, What's New page, or one of my Astounding Adventures from my Geocaching section: Welcome, Scott!

Welcome, Scott, back to St. George!
Around 8:30 AM or so, my friend and former roommate who since had moved to Joplin, Missouri, called from the Greyhound bus stop here in St. George. He had arrived at last! I drove over and picked him up. It was good to see him again. As we drove back to my house he talked about the bus trip, and the always interesting people one meets on such trips. Scott was tired and hungry after the 14-hour journey from Colorado, his last stopping-over point, so as soon as we got in, we had pancakes and eggs. Mmmm, Krusteaz pancake mix is sure easier than making batter from scratch, and it tastes good to boot. Now Scott's occupying the facilities, most likely removing the road grime. I expect he'll want to crash for a few hours after an all-nighter on the road. I sure would. It's good to have Scott over. We'll be heading to Hurricane on Thanksgiving for dinner with my extended family. Over the past few years, my job has been to bring a cooked turkey, and a pie or two to contribute. I expect I'll do the same this Thanksgiving. I need to go shopping today and pick up a good turkey and groceries. Did I mention that the weekend storm has sprinkled the surrounding hills that encircle St. George with a dusting of snow? It's beautiful! Well I'd better get to work. Lots to do before the big equipment and circuit migration scheduled in just under two weeks... | |
