I was disappointed with Tehanu. This Studio Ghibli film takes elements from the last two books and spins a different tale. I really enjoyed it. I wish Ursula K. LeGuin's Tehanu had been something more like this. |

WARNING: This DVD is NOT in the original aspect ratio, but it's all that's available on DVD at the time (2005). I don't know why Disney bothered doing this, unless they're trying to double-dip, sell a cheap version of the DVD first, and if it sells enough, then do a "Special Edition" release that's a higher quality original-aspect-ratio transfer. |

Or was it that it happened to be one of the movies we recorded on videotape (Betamax) when it aired on the Disney Channel (back when that was commercial free, and aired stuff from the Disney Library, rather than being "television")? Or all of the above? |
