Here is one of my web log entries, perhaps from my Yakkity Yak page, What's New page, or one of my Astounding Adventures from my Geocaching section: Drive-By Cache Check-Up at Sunset

Cache Revisited: WEST OF WORK (#4) by MAGNUM (Log of my original find is online here.)
4 August 2001 - 8:40 P.M. MDT (-0600) I was on my way home to St. George, Utah after visiting the State Line Cache about an hour's drive west of Cedar City at the state line between Nevada and Utah, and since the highway I was on went past this cache, and even though I'd visited it just a few weeks ago, I had to stop by and see what was new. There were THREE log entries after my last one, even though this web site shows only one (at this time - hopefully the other finders will log their visits here in the near future). There was even one from earlier today by Pat (my memory may be wrong - please correct me if I screw up when you log your visit) from, let's see, was it St. Lous? I can't remember for sure. I'm pretty sure the name was Pat, however. Too bad I didn't come by earlier. It would have been fun to bump into a fellow geocacher! Since it was late evening, the weather was wonderful again and the clouds were painted pink by the already-set sun. It was fun to read the new log entries and see how the cache contents had changed. I didn't take anything or leave anything but another log entry this time. If anyone visits this cache in the future and has a few hours and gasoline for their vehicle, you ought to continue west on the highway that runs right by this cache for another 60 miles and visit the State Line Cache placed by tvasquez. It's another small cache (a 1 1/2 inch deep sandwitch-sized square container). Okay, I've said too much and this isn't even an actual cache find. *grin* I didn't see the skunk (thankfully). -Astounding St. George, Utah | |
